Plugin Delivery and Code Signing

Michael P Ellis
Dear all,

I'm looking to deliver some free to use plugins to our customers (and anyone else) internationally (at least: UK, US, France, Switzerland Sweden, Germany)

Some browsers give warnings about untrusted code when attempting to download our unsigned jar file.

Is purchasing a code signing certificate the answer and if so, are there any recommendations as where it is best to purchase one from.

I'm based in the UK.

DSUK

P.S. Anyone is welcome to try our plugins: http://www.dsuk.biz/DSUK/SmartCaptureLite.html

The only thing of general use and utility is probably Composite Adjuster, a plugin to interactively adjust the normalisation levels and colours in a composite image. It does nothing that you cannot do with the existing colour adjuster, it just puts a convenient and pretty face on things. Any feedback gratefully received on that too.
