Point selection + 3d-rotation

I'm counting microvilli from a cell, of which I have made a 3-d projection from a picture stack. I've used the point selection tool to mark the microvilli I've already counted, but I'd need to be able to rotate the picture and have the marks rotating along, as if they were virtually attached to the ends of the microvilli. Is there an option or a plugin to make this doable? Thanks in advance!
