Possible to load overlays in "Import Image Sequence" ?

Hi Wayne and ImageJers,

I extensively use the "Import Image Sequence" import mode, and I started
using overlays in ImageJ. I usually add selections to an overlay and save
the image (usually using "from ROI manager", and saving the image as tif).
However, if I do that on a bunch of images in a folder, and then import
those images into a stack using "Import Image Sequence", I don't get the
overlays from the individual images on each slice. Would it be possible to
import slice-bound overlays from individual images with the "Import Image
Sequence" function (as a default behavior, or as a checkable option) ?
