Problems with Mac Installation

Joel Sheffield
Colleagues,
A number of my students, who are all using Mac's are having problems
downloading either Fiji for Imagej.  We thought we had resolved the
permissions issue, but something new seems to have come up.

This sad note from one of them:
"I downloaded it on my mac about two weeks ago successfully, but it seems
as if the program has mysteriously disappeared off my computer. I tried to
go to the site to redownload it, but when I press download it says I do not
have permission/authorization to download the program.

I asked my two of my friends to send me the zip file, but they are
apparently also having the same issue. I’m not sure if anyone else is
having this problem or if you know any way to fix it? "

And here's a screen shot from another one:

Have you heard of these issues?  Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Joel,

Sorry for the trouble. Yesterday, to improve performance, I migrated
downloads.imagej.net to a new server. But I forgot to migrate the Fiji
archive and latest folders. I have now restored them.

See also discussion here:

Regards,
Curtis

P.S. If anyone is interested in hosting a mirror of downloads.imagej.net,
the entire contents are available via public rsync. If you create such a
mirror, let me know, and we can start a mirrors list on the ImageJ
downloads page.
