QUESTION ABOUT SCALE BARS

Wu, Jun
Hi,
My original images were collected with the DigitalMicrograph software (GATAN digital CCD camera). The images are in .dm3 format. However, when I open these dm3 file in ImageJ, I am loosing the scale bar and data bar information from the original images. Is there anyway I can keep all the information from my original images? Thanks.

Best,
Jun

Hi,

Open the dm3 file then go to "Analyze" -> "Tools" -> "Scale Barr..."
The dm3 files have the pixel size stored in the meta data so you should
be able to display a scale bar immediately.  There is some issue of the
label for the scale bar sitting on top of the actual bar, but you can
choose to show only the bar.
