Quadratic (and other non-linear) transformations -- ImageJ or other Java library?

Davíð Þór Bragason
Hello all,

I'm just looking for some general tips and pointers on possible libraries
one could use for general geometric transformations of images. Specifically
my project obtains coefficients of quadratic transformations of eye fundus
images from the commercial i2k Retina image registration software and I
would like to apply such transformations to other images.

Many tools, such as TransformJ/ImageScience, provide a set of linear
transformations, some using sophisticated interpolation methods, but I
haven't found anything offering what I'm looking for.

If this should need to be essentially hand-coded, what library would you
recommend to base it on?The transformations differ from a linear
transformation by a very small amount if that makes any difference.

Any tips would be appreciated. Regards,
David
