attached please find what I've analyzed using your sample image after some
pre-processing.
(Why did you provide a screen shot and not the original image? Is the image
taken from a publication or website?)

Image "axon_gray_d659-132_x1_y1.tif" is a bipolar dc-free and windowed
excerpt from the pre-processes image. It was used for the orientation
analysis.

Plot "Orientation Salience of "axon_gray".tif" is the result from my
orientation salience analysis.
Please note that the angle starts horizontally and increases
counter-clockwise. (OrientationJ uses a different angle convention!)
You can extract the numerical data from the plot by clicking on the
"List"-button.
