Well, as I pointed out: we already poured a lot of time into making it
easy to contribute. Now all one needs to do to contribute is
- install Eclipse, Netbeans or IntelliJ
- change the code as I suggested (I even wrote it out in very much detail)
- contribute back
The whole process, including learning the tools enough to be able to
contribute, should not take more than a day, and will pay off for years to
come.
If that still sounds too involved, it is also possible to simply download
the current version from
https://github.com/fiji/Stack_Manipulation (look
for the "Download ZIP" link), unpack it and load the respective file into
the script editor.
We really made it dirt simple to use and modify the code (we are talking
about a scientist audience here, so I think we made it almost *too* easy),
so the ball is now in the court of the people who need the code to be
modified. They got all the code, all the tools, and excellent advice.
Ciao,
Dscho
