This is essentially for Wayne,

   I am wondering if it would be possible to add Multi Measure from the
ROI manager to the list of commands that can be assigned to a shortcut?

It is much easier than to ask Wayne: just record a macro for the Multi
Measure and wrap it as a keyboard shortcut macro:
