Chen,

The error you saw indicates that the temporary files needed by TrakEM2 cannot be written to disk. Check if the disk is full and that you have permission to write to the chosen storage folder for TrakEM2. It is also possible that the original dm3 file of each image tile (a Patch, in TrakEM2 parlance) cannot be found.
