Reading the timestamps of a metamorph streamed stack

Dear list,

Does anyone know how to read/extract the timestamps from a metamorph stream in a plugin?
I had a look in the metadata but it appears that the acquisition time is the same for all planes in the stream?

I work with Metafluor images and the timing is contained in an .inf file. I use the timing in excel, after extracting image values in ImageJ.
