Recommendation for camera

Tom Harris-6
Hi,

I want to start playing with ImageJ acquiring images from a cheap
camera. Can anyone suggest a cheap webcam with a good acquisition
plugin? I just want to be able to acquire still RGB images.

Re: Recommendation for camera

Knecht, David
I really like the Scion cameras (www.scioncorp.com).  Haven't tried
the color version but the grayscale are nice.  Of course this depends
on what "cheap" means to you.  Dave

You can use a lot of cheap camera with ImageJ Civil Capture plugin.
In Linux it seems work only with camera whose output provide RGB or YUV
format.
