Repeating measurements

Hai users,
    I would like to know if there is a provision or a way around for
measuring dimensions of two different materials (basically gray and white in
imageJ) continuously for the whole image. and get the results of the
measurements. I ask this as i have some 1000's of layers to measure and
manually its time consuming. Please suggest me a solution(or plugin).

Hi Vamsi,

your image looks like it has been subject to some filtering: All the  
edges of the dark stripes are bright, and the edges of the bright  
stripes are dark.
It would be much easier with simply dark and bright stripes. Is there  
no way to avoid this funny appearance of the edges?
