Dear all,
I thought that there could be somebody interested in this opening:
We have a Research Fellow in Imaging post opening (35 months duration) based
at the School of Dentistry, University of Birmingham, UK to work in the
project "Novel context-based segmentation algorithms for intelligent
microscopy", sponsored by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research
Council.
The project aims to develop innovative computer methods to analyse, quantify
and understand the information contained in digital microscopy images. The
work centres on the development and implementation of context-based imaging
programs and spatial logics (among those, discrete mereotopolgy) to advance
automated analysis and diagnosis of oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinomas.
