Reslice Problem

Sebastian Rhode-3
Hi,

I recorded a z-stack of a 100nm bead with a voxel size of 64x64nm in
XY and 50nm in Z dimension (image properties are correct). When I do
the "Reslice" the dialog offers "Output Spacing = 50nm" which is fine.
The resulting is then used to determine the PSF in Z direction.

When I check the image properties of the resulting stack it still says
64 x 64 x 50nm, which is in my opion wrong. It should be 64 x 50 x
64nm, since i did a reslice.

When you draw the a line profile along the z-axis of the PSF and check
the list values, the 1st column contains 0nm, 64nm, 128nm, 192nm, ...
But shouldn´t it be 0nm, 50nm, 100nm,  ...? The correct values are
cruical if one wants to fit the coorect FWHM-Z for example.

Cheers,

Sebi

You should be able to work around this problem by checking "Avoid interpolation" in the Image>Stacks>Reslice dialog box.
