Retinex filter plugin

Gabriel Landini
Francisco Jimenez from UAEMex is visiting our School and he has produced a
very nice Retinex filter for ImageJ based on the GIMP filter.
Interestingly the GIMP appears to have a buggy linear gaussian filter, the
plugin Francisco wrote uses ImageJ's gaussian blur instead.

You can download the plugin and see some examples here.

Digital Image Processing book for ImageJ

azizia abdullah
Dear All,

I am teaching an Image processing subject in my school.
I found that a book titled 'titled 'Digital Image Processing : An Algorithmic
Introduction Using Java'

by Wilhelm Burger and mark J. Burge is excellent resources for me and my
students. My question, does any body knows where I can download (if available)
all slides (in pdf or power point format) for this book. Finally, many thanks
for you cooperation.

kind regards
azizi.

Re: Digital Image Processing book for ImageJ

Burger Wilhelm
Dear Azizi,

for various reasons we do not provide a complete (PowerPoint?) slide set for our book, but all images, figures, tables and mathematical elements can be downloaded as pictures from the "Slide Material" section on the web site: http://www.imagingbook.com/index.php?id=99
Hope this helps.

As far as I know there are no slides for the book.  However, you can
download all the images from the book, illustrations etc., and use them
to make your own slides.  I did that last year and it worked quite well.
I believe that there is a web address in the introduction to the book
where you can download all the illustrations. www.imagingbook.com is the
address.
I didn't do all the chapters, but I'd be happy to share the slides that
I put together.
Regards, Ray
