Roi Statistics and Results Table

I know I've stumbled upon this information before and probably will find it again, but how do I programmatically measure Roi characteristics and retrieve the data table with the measurements?

Is it a statistics or analyzer class? Is there an example?

I should have been a little more specific, but I was trying to figure out how to do the same procedure in a plugin.

After reading, I found out that the statistics class was recommended, but it oddly does not give me the same results as the measure menu command:

You did give me a great idea though. I think I will look in the imageJ code to find out what the macro language is doing since (if I remember correctly) the macro language gives the same results as the measure menu command.
