SCIFO is very slow to import a sequence of stacks

Leon Espinosa-3
Dear developpers, I have a folder with 1442 tif stacks each one composed by 3 slices (500x500 px 16 bits). If I try to import it as a tif sequence I have "measured" these times  :

with ImageJ/IJ1 (1.49 g)
60 sec

with FIJI/IJ1 : (1.49 g)
60 sec

with FIJI/IJ2
with or without "enable imagej2 data structures"
and without "SCFIO" option :

27 sec

with FIJI/IJ2
with or without "enable imagej2 data structures"
WITH "SCFIO" option enable :

8 min 50 sec !!

It seems good news for IJ2 and bad news for SCFIO. Should I report this in Fiji bugzilla ? some SCFIO list ?

Thank you for all you work, and all the best

Leon

System: Mac OS 10.6 10 Gb allowed for memory 16 proc
