Saving overlay from Simple Neurite Tracer

Hi,

Is there a simple way to save an image with overlay of traces done by Simple Neurite Tracer ?
Using flatten does not work.

I did notice that I can use a work around by    Edit->Selection->create selection  and then restore the selection on a copy of the image I used for tracing, and then Flatten
