Searching for DICOM files in ImageJ

Dello Simon (Stud. FHMLg)
Dear all,

I am a medical student and I am using ImageJ for volumetry with use of CT-scans. In our hospital most of the time we get CT-scans on a cd-rom. The DICOM files from the CT-scans are compressed and have different irregurly names. So the problem is that I am not able to search for the right DICOM files in the browser of ImageJ. Does someone know a plugin or a macro that makes it possible to directy view DICOM files in the browser of ImageJ so that I can open them in the right order? I tried the plugin "DICOM directory analyser" but for some reason it doesn't work.

Yours sincerely,

Try the TUDOR DICOM Plugin/Tools/Viewer:

http://imagejdocu.tudor.lu/doku.php?id=plugin:inputoutput:the_tudor_dicom_toolkit:start

The open Dialog can read the DICOM-CD format directly.
For reading some compressed formats you need to install the Java Advanced
Imaging API for your OS from the Sun Homepage.
