I know what you are referring to. It is possible to use
Image>Stacks>Reslice to present a "side view" of the edge revealed by
a line traced on the image. I would imagine that it would be
possible to draw one line, run a reslice, draw a line at right angles
and do a second reslice. One could then rotate and place all three
images in a new image frame so that they would duplicate the Leica
display. This is cumbersome, but it might be possible to write a
macro to do this.
That said, I haven't had enough experience with macros yet to try it.
