Hello fellows,
I need some of your experience and expertise:
We want to follow shape changes and motility of individual cells on time lapse sequences (2D cell culture imaged with Phase contrast (see example)
For that we need to trace and track all processes belonging to identified individual cells on each frame.
We would appreciate if somebody could recommand:
- an algorithm or sequence of filters that we could use to increase low contrast features (ie. edge detection or the like)
- an interactive tool that we could then use to select cells and their processes (similar to the "magical wand" in Photoshop) useable on image sequences (ie that keeps track of cell's ids over the whole time lapse sequence).
- a automated combination of the above.
- or a paper that describe all this.....
Thanks for your help.
