Setting scale of z step

Declan James
Dear ImageJ users

Could you lend me some help?  I would like to set the z scale so that it
matches the z step size of the Nikon confocal stack.  Each pixel has an
xyz of 0.4 X 0.4 X 0.1 um.  At the moment after I set the scale within
Imagej I get pixels with xyz of 0.4 x 0.4 x 0.4 um(cubes).  The stack is
imported into ImageJ using the very useful Ics opener.  When I use the
ImageJ 3D viewer to create a projection I get an artifically elongated
image in the z axis.

Thanks

Declan

Hi,

You should be able to set the Voxel Depth thru Images->Properties (or
ctrl+shift+p). There you can manually set the pixel xyz to the correct
proportion.

I think that's it!
