Slide staining tests

Gabriel Landini
Dear list,

This is a bit off-topic but I hope you can help us with a small research
project.

At the School of Dentistry we have developed some methods to enhance
Haematoxylin and Eosin stained microscopy sections, for better perception by
colour blind observers.

We are testing this using image pairs which have been subjected to various
enhancements. We hope to find whether colour blind individuals prefer these
enhancements, and what is the preference for people with normal colour vision.

We would like to have some feedback from both colour-normal observers which
have some experience in looking at H&E stained sections and also from colour
blind individuals.

We have produced 3 browser-based tests which consist of of a number of images
pairs: for each pair the user chooses the image that shows differently
stained structures  best.

If you are willing to take the test, please contact me directly (not through
this list) and I will provide the links and an ID number to access it (this
is because we are required by the ethics committee to be able to identify and
delete a response in case any  participant asks us to do so).

Many thanks in advance.

Gabriel
