Has everyone seen the new paper on a Fiji plugin that claims to dramatically improve on max intensity projection for displaying 3D data?
https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms15554?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ncomms%2Frss%2Fcurrent+%28Nature+Communications+-+current%29They don’t compare it to deconvolution, even though excellent deconvolution plugins like DeconvolutionLab are readily available for Fiji. Has anyone tried SME to see whether it is easier, faster or better in some way? When I get a chance I will give it a try and report back.
