Solidity and Fit Ellipse

Hey,

I want to make sure I understood parameters correctly.

If I measure Solidity, was does it exactly mean? (I know that it's supposed to be Area/Convex Area)

For example: I have two sorts of leaves, one is more rounded, the other is more pointy and with dents. Would Solidity show the difference between the shapes?

Also, I'm not quite sure what "Fit Ellipse" in the Set Measurements does. If I activate it, I don't see a difference in my results nor do I get an additional column "fit ellipse".

Is it possible to measure the Area/Perimeter of the actual shape and that of the fitted ellipse?
