Sorting Particle Analysis Results

Ryan Johnson-3
Hello all,

I'm just starting out my use of ImageJ for cytometry research, so this
question may seem quite ridiculously simple, but I'm having trouble sorting
the results table by different parameters.  i.e., after I threshold my image
and analyze particles, I want to be able to see all of the particles with a
certain area or close there about grouped together, instead of group in
chronologic order.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

I do not think that you can do sorting of the results table by parameter. The
results are written sequentially in the table as the particles are analysed.

You could, however, write a macro/plugin to read all the values, sort them and
re-write the Results table.
Of course it is easier/simpler just to save the Results table data and load it
in Openoffice or Excel spreadsheets.

Cheers,
