Still stack problem

Girault France

Hello,
I've still a stack problem... and I-m really stuck at this point...
I would like to open a file containing 12  images (using list Opener) , make a stack and then a montage on imageJ.

As I have already an image open on imageJ, this last is incorporated in the stack  with my other 12 images when I run ("Convert images to Stack") and I don-t want that !
How can I do to ignore this image that has to stay open when I make the stack? I'm sure there is a way of doing this, but I cannot found out...

By the way, Large Montage still doesn-t work... plugin not found when I run it. Even though I have all the files that I need ! I might have done something wrong, but i don-t know what ! I run imageJ bundled with Java.

Any suggestions ?

many thanks

Hi,

I don't know if anyone has suggested this yet, but did you
take a look at the tutorial by Cyndy Erickson and Janet
Campbell?

http://www.cooa.unh.edu/tutorial.jsp

It explains how to make stacks and montages in ImageJ, and
might be usefull.

If the plugin fails to work, you might try to compile and
run the source code. If it says javac is not found, then it
ImageJ is probably not started with the JVM you want it to
start with. You do have the 'tools.jar' file in your
'lib/ext' of the JVM that runs ImageJ, do you?

Greetings,
Edwin

Re: Still stack problem

Hello,

I looked at this tutorial and found my answer... I have to open the
pictures as images sequence and then it works well.

And I also finally managed to open the plugin "Large Montage". I don't
know what was wrong, but it was not the tools.jar... But I haven't tried
it yet due to harware problems.

Cheers,

france
