I've got version 1.41e saved as ij.jar in my ImageJ folder on my
intel Mac (10.5.4). But when I launch ImageJ and look at "About
ImageJ...", it tells me I'm in 1.38x.
Ahhh... I just realized there was an old invisible copy of ij.jar in
the Image.app>Contents>Resources>Java. This must be old news, but
apparently one needs a newer version of ImageJ.app in order to
install newer versions of ij.jar in the ImageJ directory.
Everything is fine now, but others on the Mac might want to check
that their updates are really up-to-date.
