“Supress stripes” function in “Band-pass” filter doesn't work

I'm now using the version of V1.44j
Before I've processed some images with vertical stripes in imageJ with the “Supress stripes” function in the "band-pass" filter, and it worked quite well to eliminate those stripe.
Today I tried again this function, but I found even with the same image, the "supress stripes" function doesn't work at all...
It is quite strange. Is there any way to solve this problem?
