TEM nanoparticle size analysis

Wong, Sook (NIH/NCATS) [V]
Hi All,

I have bunch of TEM images and would like to figure out the particle sizes (dark spots) and how many spots are there. I were having problem segmenting out the spots with threshold and another issue for me is there are more than 100+ TEM images that need to be analyzed. In each image, there is a portion of grid (mostly on left size) and would consider to eliminate that portion to avoid computing confusion.

Would really appreciate if someone in this forum can provide a better solution to analyze large portions of TEM images...

Thank you so much.

Dear Sook Wong,

Maybe you can post or link to an example image?

Best wishes
