TrackMate LoG Detector (Possible bug?)

jumpfunky
Dear List,

I currently playing around with the TrackMate plugin. I used a Stack of
images* where the pixel size is 166nm.

If I use the LoG Detector WITHOUT calibration, the following parameters
seems to be fine:
Estimated blob diameter: 10 pixel
Threshold: 0.3

However, if I use the LoG Detector WITH the calibrated stack the
following parameters are not working (no spots are found):
Estimated blob diameter: 10*166 = 1660
Threshold: 0.3

When I use the DoG Detector instead, the parameters above works fine. It
seems that the threshold variable in the LoG Detector is influenced by
the calibration. But if it is the same threshold variable like for the
DoG detector than it shouldn't: "The Threshold numerical value aims at
helping dealing with situation where a gigantic number of spots can be
found. Every spot with a maximal intensity value below this threshold
value will not be retained" **

Maybe a bug?

Cheers,
Thorsten
