Subject: Trackmate Track statistics
Hi everybody,
I'm using Trackmate to track microtubule plus end binding proteins. In the end I want to know the mean speed. The Track statistics give me Track_Duration, Track_Displacement and Track_Mean_Speed. My problem is that when I devide Track_Displacement by Track_Duration I don't get the same number as Track_Mean_Speed.
One example result:
Number_Spots Track_Duration
Track_Displacement Track_Mean_Speed
1 Track_0 16 15 5.968
0.411
5.968/15 = 0.398
Can anybody tell me how Trackmate is calculating the mean speed?
Thanks alot!
