What would cause the Particle Analyzer to give me this message?

Wow! I really need help on this.

I found out, if I use auto enhance contrast, that Particle Analzyer with "Exclude on Edges" checked fails. I wasn't even using the program. I simply clicked through those menu commands on always end up with an error.

I am relying on Particle Analzyer to help get rid of border particles. If it's buggy, then I don't know what my options are.....

I am a little bit late but just in case it can helps somebody...

This is a problem that happends  due to the way in wich edges particles are removed (changing the color intensity of the particles touching the edges). The problem is normally solved by increasing a bit the lower threshold (in my case from 1 to 2) used for the detection.

Hope it helps,
