Urgent: how to do morphometric analysis??

Chen, Yuk Shan
Dear all,
Currently I am trying to use the Image J (1.37v) to do the morphometric
analysis of the toluidin-blue stained nerve sections: e.g. myelinated fiber
size, fascicular area, circularity, distribution...I have been trying very hard
to explore the program, but still find it very difficult. Actually before for
large or single objects, I did not have problems to use Image I to measure the
area or circularity. However, now I find it difficult because the fiber area is
small and, in addition, the  number of fibers is great. Can anyone help???

Thank you very very much!!!

I am not sure if I understand your problem. But you may have a try to convert the image to 8bit, threshold, particle analysis, ...

Good luck !
