Using ImageJ for Working with tooth radiograms

Hi!

I study in germany dentistry. For my dissertation i´m searching for a program that allows me to compare and measure structure distinctions between two tooth radiograms.
Is it possible to accomplish this with Image J? Are there any advantageous plugins which i can use for the analysis?
