Using analyze particles show options later on ROIs

Ruszkai Ákos
Hello,

I've defined some ROIs on an image, with simple thresholding and the analyse
particles menu option. I've saved those ROIs, so later I can either fine
tune them, or reproduce the measurements.
However, I couldn't find any way to regenerate the result images under
"show" dropdown menu in analyze particles (mask, outlines with number in it,
ellipses etc.)
How can I use these functions of ImageJ outside of the analyse particles
menu?
Thank you for your support

Regards,

Hi Ákos,

there is no direct way to get the Particle Analyzer output from a
list of ROIs in the ROI Manager.

What you can do:
  - ROI Manager More>>Combine
  - Edit>Selection>Create Mask (before this, there must be no image
named 'Mask')
  - Run the Particle Analyzer on the Mask, with the output type of
your choice.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your answer. The solution is pretty trivial, but not obvious.
I think I need to earn more routine in using ImageJ.
