Where is TIFF Image Info in SCIFIO?

tongtao
In Fiji, File -> Open Samples -> Hela Cells, I can hit the "i" key to see
the image info.

Once I saved the HeLa cells image as TIFF on my desktop, I can still see
the info as long as I am not using the ImageJ2 SCIFIO to open it. Once I
use ImageJ2 SCIFIO, the image info is gone from the info window.

Obviously the image info is still there, since if I disable the SCIFIO, it
reappears.

The question is: is there anyway to retrieve this info while using ImageJ2
SCIFIO?

Thank you very much!

Hi Tao,

SCIFIO?

I suspect that the info is stored in the TIFF ImageJ comment, and is being
parsed by SCIFIO but then not actually used to populate the ImagePlus info
(as we are doing that population in a format-agnostic way). I opened an
issue for tracking: https://github.com/imagej/imagej-legacy/issues/74

Thanks for the report!
