Trying to run ImageJ under Windows 8 and it doesn't seem to matter whether I try either x32 or x64 builds, it fails to launch when the program is installed on the hard disk. The error is
Opener File is not in a supported format, a reader plugin is not available, or it was not found. C:\Program FIles (x86)\ImageJ\Files Interestingly, when we run ImageJ from a CD, it launches just fine! |

Hi all, Would this have something to do with the fact that Fiji is under "Program Files (x86)" which has some particular permissions as it's a protected windows folder? We had this issue a while back on windows 7, and moving the Fiji.app folder to c:\ had solved the issue. Maybe if you moved ImageJ to C:\?
