Window focus on Ubuntu / Gnome

Michael Doube
Hello

I frequently open folders of DICOM images by dragging and dropping onto
ImageJ, but the "Open Folder?" dialog doesn't get window focus - it's
hidden behind the File Browser window from which I dragged the folder.
So then I have to move the windows around to hit 'Yes'.

I'm using ImageJ 1.41k on Sun Java 1.6.0_07, Ubuntu 8.04.1 (amd64) and
the GNOME desktop.  With Win XP, the expected behaviour occurs: the
"Open Folder?" dialog gets focus.

Any idea about where this bug might be?

Mike

AFAIK is a bug with metacity or java, affecting all java apps running
under metacity window manager (gnome's default).
