Dear ImageJ List
First of all, I would like to thank you for your great contributions to
this software.
This software allows me to handle my Stacks, acquired from a Leica SP2
AOBS LSM-System in a very convenient way.
I would like to ask for a very small change. It is only a Suggestion.
Whenever I use the Maximum Projection or the Average Projection under
Image-Stacks-Z-Project… I get a nice result.
My suggestion is that instead of the Long Name of this projection result
“Z Projection of …” it should be enough to get a title like this:
“ZP_ …”
I have already altered this in the source code. I have also already
altered the “getShorttitle” to “getTitle” in the source-code, to get all
important information’s of the title in the resulting projection. I have
to mention, that I am not a programmer, only a biologist.
So, whenever I install a new version of the “ij.jar” file, I first have
to extract this file and replace the necessary files with my own. This
is not very convenient.
Maybe it will be nice, when this really small change will be introduced
in further versions of the “ij.jar” file, because the file Name is
really to long for following steps.
Sure the same should be done for the other projection modes.
