an AVI issue (comparison footage attached)

Rainer M. Engel
I ran into an AVI issue which occurs with bigger AVIs. In my case
"smaller" files only big concerning the frame amount.

Resulting files have a non correct index as uncompressed AVI when
exceeding a certain size or frame amount.
In the File attached (Attention 7,5MB but ~ 11GB extracted) one can find
two big files.

> fuv_ImprintCounter_RGB.avi
Directly created from imageJ which produces errors in virtualDub and
other tools around here.
ERROR MESSAGE:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/414433/imagej/RGB_AVI.png

> fuv_ImprintCounter_RGB_virtualdub.avi
The same sequence after index-rebuild from VirtualDub. Both Clips can be
read correctly by imageJ back again.

The smaller 100 frame clip is fine in VirtualDub!

Maybe this info is useful..

Regards,
Rainer
