area list in TrakEM2

Luisa de Vivo
Hello,

I have been using TrakEM2 to segment and reconstruct objects in 3d with the
area list tool, but I have noticed that sometimes volume or surface area
measurements change after I have added a new area list in my project.

I have noticed changes in volume up to 10% sometimes. I could not find any
pattern, this phenomenon seems to happen randomly in some area lists but
not in others. I am pretty sure that I am not accidentally adding/removing
pixels to the old area lists.
Did anyone notice something similar or can anyone think about a possible
explanation for this phenomenon?

Thank you,

Luisa

Do you mean the area measurement of the old arealist? Is it linked to the
new one?

It would help if you can send some screenshots of what you are
experimenting. Also I would recommend you to post your questions in the
ImageJ forum: http://forum.imagej.net/
