averaging reducer for stack

Hi All,
I would like to use Averaging Reducer plugin to reduce the size of the stack by averaging.
Right now, this plugin works only with the single image and applying it to the stack it changes the size of the first frame only.
Does anybody know how to do this?

The Image>Scale and Image>Adjust>Size commands, which work with stacks,
reduce RGB images by averaging when the scale is 0.25 or less (e.g.,
when creating thumbnails).
