If the times are regular (a.k.a. 30 FPS) then either multiply the frame # by the time interval or in the Image > Properties menu enter the Time Interval and use this.
Look at
https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/developer/macro/functions.html in particular the Stack commands such as Stack.setTUnit(string) and Stack.setFrameInterval(interval)
If the times are not regular, then you need a text list of the times and using the frame number get the time from the list.

Subject: avi video analysis
Hi,
I´m working with .avi files and already added a time stamp to them. In a next step I want to get the time at distinct points by pressing a keyboard button, e.g. when a mouse goes through a door one presses 'g' and the time is saved; when the mouse eats I press 'e' and again the time is saved for the 'eat pattern'. I have so many data and different 'actions' so I like to use multiple keys if possible...
Any idea how to realize??
Thanks a lot!
