Considering using fairy tales in early childhood education, I keep coming back to the difference between knowing about an idea and putting it into practice. Retelling a familiar tale can help a child practise sequencing and understand different viewpoints. It makes me curious about the practical side of
fairy tale learning activities. I am still thinking through the details, and a small example would help me picture how this works in practice. What changes when children are invited to invent their own ending?
