building a stack from LIFF

Christian Liebig
Dear Listers,

we have a user here in our facility who needs to import a series of LIFF
files into ImageJ to transform them into a stack. What happens is that
every time he does that the files are in the correct order except that
the last image is put in the first position. I have done that a thousand
times with TIFF files and it worked fine so we wonder whether this is an
issue with the LIFF or some other bug or whether we just make some
simple mistake. We are using ImageJ 1.38x.

Thank you,

Christian

Hi Christian,
I assume that you are using the Bio-Formats importer plugin to read LIFF
files.  If so, it's entirely possible that there is a bug in Bio-Formats
that is causing this behaviour.

At a minimum, could you please send the names of the files in the order that
they should be imported?  If possible, it would also be useful to have the
files themselves, so that we (the Bio-Formats developers) can see exactly
what's going on.  If you are willing to send the files, I can provide you
with our FTP server details off-list.

Regards,
-Melissa
