cleaning up scanned images

james ryan
Has anyone used imagej to clean up scanned images?  My understanding
is that there is a deskew, autocrop, autorotate, despeckle type of
routines out there.  I am not sure if Imagej supports them or if
anyone has had any success using such routines if they do exist.

All input welcome.

Hello,

I have implemented multithreaded algorithms for automatic classification
and cropping of scanned paper documents with color scale bars.
ImageJ is used for I/O operations and there is a plugin that allows to specify
paths to the data and configuration files.
