comparison-SOS

Hans Kohl
Hallo, I would like to compare the signals in a selected area on several different images. To do this I would need to move the selected area (empty rectangle) from one image to another. Trying copy-paste I moved the selected area including the part of the first image in the selected area. Would you please advice me how I can move a selected area (empty mask) between the images or suggest a smart solution to this problem.
Thank you very much.
Best regards

Hi,
If your images have the same X-Y size, you can select region of interest on one of them, measure it,  click on the title bar of the next image to make it active, and then press Ctrl+Shift+E (this will execute menu command "Restore Selection"). Alternatively, you can access this command via Edit->Selection->Restore Selection.
Regards,
Tony.

You can transfer a selection from one image to another using the
Edit>Selection>Restore Selection command.

    1. Select an image with a selection
    2. Select another image
    3. Type shift-e (Restore Selection)
