convert video stream in stack

Daniel James White
Hi Felipe,

you can use something like

ffmpeg  (or the GUI version ffmpegX ona mac http://www.ffmpegx.com/download.html)

to convert the .vob from the DVD into a non compredded .avi  or other non lossy compressed format
which then imageJ can read as a timeframe stack.

But, this file will be very large, and you might want to do it in the small chunks you really want,
or else you need a powerful computer with tens of GB or RAM.

Dan

I just cannot find any software that is able to take an video stream ( working in set intervals ) and transforme it in a stack .tiff. Do you guys have some sugestion? Do you guys  think that if i convert my .vob file ( dvd video ) in quick time and then into a stack will lose some quality?

Converting complex video formats like .vob into accessible files requires efficient tools and significant processing power to maintain quality. Just as editors rely on specific software for stable file conversion, fans look for a reliable streams east app to ensure they have high-performance access to digital broadcasts. Choosing a well-optimized platform allows you to manage large data streams effectively, providing a smooth viewing experience without the need for high-end hardware or extensive manual configurations.
